1. Who controls your information
WebAndNet is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. You can contact us using the enquiry form or via webandnet.co.uk. No postal address or telephone contact is published on this template.
2. Information we collect
When you enquire, we may collect your name, email address, company, requested domain, enquiry type, offer amount, message, submission time, IP address and technical information needed to deliver and protect the form. If a transaction progresses, we may request further identity, billing, payment, compliance and transfer information.
3. How and why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, negotiate and administer a proposed transaction, send an acknowledgement, prevent abuse and fraud, keep business records, comply with law and establish or defend legal claims. Our lawful bases may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our domain-sales business.
4. Sharing
We may share relevant information with hosting and email providers, registrars and registries, payment or escrow providers, professional advisers, fraud-prevention services and public authorities where reasonably necessary. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where applicable, we use safeguards required by data-protection law.
5. Retention
Unsuccessful enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for security, disputes or legal obligations. Transaction and accounting records may be kept for the legally required period. Information is then deleted or anonymised where practicable.
6. Cookies and analytics
This template does not set analytics or advertising cookies by default and therefore displays no cookie banner. The hosting provider may process essential server logs. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is enabled later, this notice and the site’s consent controls must be updated before activation.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information through the form.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your information, and to receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk for current guidance.
9. Changes
We may update this notice to reflect legal, operational or service changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
